Please note that ATMS has filled its classes for class year 2011-2012. We thank you for your trust in us, however we will not be taking any new registrations for this year. Next year's class registrations will be open in February 2012.
Averroes Toronto Moroccan School ATMS is a weekend class which fosters an environment for students to develop their learning skills of Arabic language, Islamic education and Moroccan culture and Darija.
We believe that we are educating students the ethical values of their heritage language in a rapidly changing world of the 21st century. We agree that success and an enriched life will depend upon :
The mastery of communication skills, including writing, reading, speaking and listening.
The cultivation of an international and multi-cultural perspective and skills.
ATMS students will:
Acquire the learning skills needed to pursue knowledge of the Arabic language and Islamic education.
Attain recognized standards of knowledge of their subjects, but also realize that learning is a continuous process.
Acquire, understand, and respect Islamic teachings, traditions, and culture.
مدرسة ابن رشد المغربية بتورنتو مؤسسة تربوية، غير ربحية تُتيح بيئة سليمة للطلبة لتطوير مهاراتهم التعليمية في اللغة العربية، التربية الإسلامية ثم الثقافة و الدارجة المغربية.
إيمانا" منا بأن العملية التربوية تنطوي على إعداد الطلبة لعالم سريع التغير في القرن الواحد والعشرين، وتحديات جسيمة تطرح على الهوية. فإننا نُقرُ أن خير مؤشر للنجاح في الحياة المعرفية يعتمدعلى:
* التفوق في مهارات التواصل مثل القراءة ، الكتابة ، المحادثة والإصغاء.
* تشجيع التنوع الثقافي في الرؤيا والمهارات بحيث يمكن للتلميذ انتهاز الفرص المهنية على النطاق العالمي.
سيكتسب التلميذ:
* المهارات اللازمة والتي يحتاجها لتعلم اللغة العربية والتربية الإسلامية.
* يتبنى الطرق العلمية للتعلم والتي تسودها معايير القيم الرفيعة بالإضافة إلى احترام آراء الآخرين ومعتقداتهم.
* أن يصبح متمكنا في تحصيل اللغة العربية عبر تدرجه في مستويات ، مدركا أن التعليم عملية مستمرة.
